A grandson of Rev. Jay G. White, ministry was prayed into Pastor Shedd’s life as a young boy. His Grand Papa made a great impression in his life as a God-fearing man. As a young man, Pastor Shedd asked God to save him and believed He did. Over 40 years ago , he completely said, Yes Lord.

God elevated him in two years to teach the church’s adult Sunday School class. Four years later, he was called to Minister of Word by the Lord. Pastor Shedd was licensed in his home church and also under Supt A. D. Rylander at True Vine COGIC, and was ordained through COGIC Incorp. In 2005, he was called upon to pastor what is known now as Spirit Of Praise Church in Grand Prairie, TX.

Pastor Shedd is married to Lady Janice Shedd. Together, they have five girls, two boys, sixteen grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Joyfully, they give God all the Praise and Glory for who He is through his son Jesus.
